Nutrition Counseling for Perimenopause and Women’s Health
You’ve heard of the weight gain, night sweats, and hot flashes many women experience during perimenopause, menopause, and even postmenopause. But did you know changing hormones can also come with symptoms like:
- Digestive issues
- Sleep difficulties
- Heart palpitations
- Joint pain
- Vaginal discomfort
- Decreased sex drive
- Feeling down
- Increased anxiety
- Restlessness
- Fatigue & exhaustion
You’re not alone, and you can feel better.
I’m Melissa Gopp-Warner, RDN, LDN, a dietitian who helps women ease symptoms of perimenopause and other women’s health challenges with food. Extensive research led me to use whole-food, plant-based nutrition to address my perimenopause symptoms and health concerns. Now I’m passionate about showing other women how to reach their own new normal, which can include:
- Renewed energy
- Quality sleep
- Weight satisfaction
- Healthful aging
- Delicious, nourishing food
- A sense of freedom in your own skin
You don’t have to grit your way through the next 4 – 10 years that the perimenopause / menopause transition can last. Whether you’re a breast cancer survivor, prefer an alternative to hormone replacement therapy, or are confused about what to do next, plants are a safe and effective way to start feeling better now.
FAQ
Do I have to be 100% plant-based to work with you?
Absolutely not. Plant-based nutrition is a spectrum, and I’m happy to meet you wherever you’re at. As a foundation, we’ll strive to incorporate more plants into your daily routine to help you feel better ASAP.
If I live outside the state of Florida, can we still work together?
I am licensed by the state of Florida and can legally provide telehealth services for clients located in Florida, California, Colorado, and Virginia.
Where is your office located?
I work from my home office in the Jacksonville, Florida area and see clients virtually though the HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform Practice Better.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, I am a cash-based practice and do not bill insurance. This maximizes the time I get to focus on each client through a whole-person, health-focused lens. If you have insurance, please let me know if you would like a receipt to self submit for out-of-network benefits.
I want to work with you, but I don’t see a service that fits my specific nutrition needs.
I am happy to discuss your needs and create a service or package that works for you. Book a free call, and we’ll see what’s possible.
